A boutique press firm built for the brands the majors haven't caught up to yet.
LUX PLE Media represents emerging entertainment, streaming, and lifestyle brands from our newsroom in Chicago, Illinois. We run press distribution, journalist outreach, and platform relationships for founders who refuse to wait their turn at the legacy wire services.
Own the megaphone.
Independent founders shouldn't have to pay $250 a release for inflated "reach" numbers and recycled press lists. LUX PLE Media gives them a direct line to the journalists, aggregators, and platforms that actually move stories.
We operate as a hybrid — combining the relationships of a boutique firm with the infrastructure of a modern newsroom. Our clients keep their press archive forever, build their own list of journalists, and reach Google News, Apple News, and major aggregators without paying a gatekeeper.
The Newsroom
Jara Everett is a media entrepreneur and the founder of LUX PLE Media and RAATV. She built LUX PLE Media to give independent founders the same press reach as the majors — on their own terms, from their own newsroom.
Camille Brooks is among the most quietly influential publicists working in independent entertainment today. Born and raised in upstate New York, she began her career in Manhattan's boutique communications scene before relocating to Los Angeles, where she has spent the past fifteen years building deep relationships across entertainment, lifestyle, and streaming media. She is known among editors for her measured approach to coverage, her insistence on long arcs over single hits, and her unwavering discretion with talent. At LUX PLE Media, Camille leads communications strategy for the firm's full roster, with particular focus on streaming, entertainment trade press, and culture media. She divides her time between Chicago and the Hudson Valley.
Jordan Hayes manages day-to-day media relations for the LUX PLE Media newsroom and serves as the primary point of contact for reporters, producers, and editors covering the firm's client roster. They are based in Chicago.
Sienna Marsh is Unit Publicist for RAATV's slate of original programming, beginning with the firm's flagship series, The Access Index: Jackson. She leads show-specific media relations, including talent press, premiere coverage, and episodic publicity across the firm's series clients. She is based in Los Angeles.
Chicago, Illinois.
We're based where Black media has been built for a century — the city of Ebony, Jet, the Chicago Defender, and the wave of independent Black creators reshaping what mainstream looks like now.
