RAATV Launches as Independent Black-Owned Streaming Network on June 19, 2026
Chicago-based platform debuts with original reality series The Access Index: Jackson, premiering Friday, June 19 at 7 PM CT.
CHICAGO, Ill. — Rich Azz Auntie TV (RAATV), an independent, Black-owned streaming network, will launch officially on Friday, June 19, 2026, the company announced today. The platform debuts with its first original reality series, The Access Index: Jackson, premiering at 7 PM CT exclusively on the network.
Founded by writer, producer, director, and cinematographer Jara Everett — trained in Fine Arts in Cinema and Television at Columbia College Hollywood — RAATV was built to give independent Black creators a platform without the gatekeeping of traditional Hollywood. The network spans original reality series, lifestyle programming, and documentary content for audiences underserved by legacy streamers.
“RAATV was not built in a boardroom. It was built from vision, sacrifice, faith, and the determination to create something that truly belongs to us. When Hollywood says no, RAATV says: ‘Bring it here.’”
— Jara Everett, Founder & CEO
RAATV launches on Android (Google Play) and the web at raatv.net for premiere day, with apps for Apple, Samsung Smart TVs, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV rolling out across summer 2026. Subscription pricing is $7.99/month or $69.99/year.
