Nobody Paid to Put This Show in Front of a Million People
The Access Index: Jackson crossed a million views across four platforms with no paid promotion — and three quarters of that audience watched on a television.
CHICAGO, Ill. — The Access Index: Jackson — a series about Black women in Mississippi who actually run companies — has been seen more than a million times across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, with no paid promotion behind it.
On YouTube alone the show drew more than a million impressions, and ninety-four percent of that reach came from the platform recommending it to people who had never heard of it. The premiere episode crossed 80,000 views in its first month and is still climbing.
Then there is the part that surprised the network. Seventy-seven percent of the audience watches on a television set, not a phone. Nine in ten are women. Most are between thirty-five and sixty-four.
And YouTube's own recommendation engine places the show beside Belle Collective and Ladies Of Orange County — a comparison RAATV never had to make for itself. Viewers searching for Real Housewives of Atlanta, Love After Lockup and Heart and Hustle Houston are arriving at it too.
"We didn't buy this audience," said Jara Everett, the network's founder and the show's creator and executive producer. "They found us on their own and they stayed for eighteen minutes. You can't purchase that and you can't fake it."
There is a second number the network keeps returning to. People who search the show by name watch for around twenty minutes. People who search the category — "reality tv full episodes" — watch for under three. The gap is the difference between an audience a show owns and traffic it rents.
Season Two
Season Two of The Access Index: Jackson films in the spring and premieres in summer 2027. Sponsorship and partnership conversations for the season are under way, and additional RAATV productions are in development.
