Reality Star Dwanna Stanley of "The Access Index: Jackson" Fires Back at Viral Anti-HBCU Post — Sparks Online Debate Weeks Before RAATV Debut

After a Facebook user wrote that she "thanked God" she didn't attend an HBCU, The Agency Haus founder and reality-series lead quote-shared the post with a response that has Black social media split.

CHICAGO, ILDwanna Stanley, Managing Broker and Owner of **The Agency Haus** — the largest Black-owned real estate firm in the state of Mississippi — and one of the leading cast members of RAATV's upcoming reality series *The Access Index: Jackson*, is dominating Black social media this week after publicly responding to a viral anti-HBCU post with a defense of Black colleges that has the internet picking sides.

Earlier this week, a viral Facebook post — written by another Black woman with a sizeable following — declared:

> "I thank God I didn't have to go to an HBCU. No shade."

The post had been circulating across Black social media networks before Stanley quote-shared it directly to her own page yesterday — adding her own response above it:

> "I attended an HBCU however I graduated from a PWI. I dared my daughter to attend a PWI, if she would have I would not have paid for college. Suburban black kids are the absolute worst, and the ONLY way for them to become culturally sound is to attend an HBCU."

Stanley's reply landed differently than a standalone post might have. By quote-sharing the original directly underneath her response, she essentially set the two positions side-by-side: one Black woman thanking God she avoided HBCUs, another saying HBCUs are the only way for Black kids — especially suburban Black kids — to become culturally grounded. Followers are pulled into both posts at once, and the comment sections have erupted.

Reactions are split: Stanley's followers have largely cheered her on as a vocal HBCU advocate, while critics push back hard on her characterization of suburban Black youth. The debate has spilled into Twitter/X, Threads, and group chats across HBCU alumni networks, with both camps quoting the posts line-by-line.

Stanley has not walked anything back. She's been online responding to commenters directly — a posture that aligns with the personality fans will see on screen when *The Access Index: Jackson* premieres on RAATV.

Stanley leads The Agency Haus with more than 100 agents on the firm's roster, and the brokerage is actively positioning for expansion into Texas and Atlanta. She enters reality television not as a personality looking for a platform, but as one of Jackson's most visible business owners taking a calculated step into a national spotlight.

"When we cast this show, we weren't looking for women who'd shrink for a camera," said Sienna Marsh, Unit Publicist for RAATV Originals at LUX PLE Media. "We were looking for women who'd say in front of a million people exactly what they say in their own group chats. Dwanna is exhibit A. What you're seeing online this week is what audiences will get every Friday on RAATV."

*The Access Index: Jackson* is RAATV's first original reality series and the centerpiece of the network's official launch. The series follows a cast of real Black businesswomen navigating power, alliances, and rivalry in Jackson, Mississippi. Stanley joins fellow cast members Melanie Sanders, Amanda Williamson, Yolanda "Flanna" Leggins, Shun England, and Kenxavia "ItGirlKen" Smith for a season built around the show's defining tagline:

> **"ACCESS GETS YOU IN. THE INDEX DECIDES IF YOU STAY."**

The premiere airs **Friday, June 19, 2026 at 7 PM Central** on RAATV, streaming on Android and web at launch with Apple, Samsung, Roku, and Amazon Fire rolling out across summer 2026.

For Stanley, the HBCU exchange is the latest reminder that the women on this show aren't auditioning a persona — they're already living the storyline.
