RAATV releases the franchise's first cast spotlight ahead of the June 19, 2026 premiere — introducing the makeup artist turned hip hop artist redefining what it means to build influence across two industries.
JACKSON, Miss. — RAATV today released the first installment of its FIRST LOOK cast spotlight series, introducing Kenxavia "ItGirlKen" Smith — one of six real Black businesswomen featured in The Access Index: Jackson, the flagship docu-reality series premiering Friday, June 19, 2026 at 7 PM CT exclusively on RAATV.
ItGirlKen is a Jackson/Yazoo City-based makeup artist and rising hip hop artist, known in Mississippi's beauty industry for her clientele and increasingly recognized in the city's emerging music scene. She represents a new generation of Black creatives balancing entrepreneurial businesses with national creative ambitions.
"ItGirlKen is the cast's emerging creative force," said Peggy Jara Everett, aka Jara Everett Creator and Executive Producer. "She's balancing a beauty business with a real push into hip hop, and that hustle is what makes her The Access Index. The Index isn't just about who already has access — it's about who's earning it."
The Access Index: Jackson follows six real Black businesswomen navigating Jackson, Mississippi's elite social and business circles — entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals across real estate, beauty, fashion, finance, and media. The franchise tagline: "Access gets you in. The Index decides if you stay."
Earlier this week, RAATV announced that The Access Index franchise will expand to Chicago in late 2026, with casting opening in August. "The Access Index was never meant to be limited to one city," Everett said in the franchise announcement. "Every major city has influential women, exclusive circles, and unspoken hierarchies. Chicago is the next evolution of the franchise."
The FIRST LOOK series will roll out weekly leading up to the June 19 premiere, with additional cast spotlights to follow. The Access Index: Jackson streams exclusively on RAATV.
The Access Index: Jackson premieres Friday, June 19, 2026 at 7 PM CT (8 PM ET / 5 PM PT). RAATV launches on Android (Google Play) and the web at raatv.net for premiere day, with apps for Apple, Samsung Smart TVs, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV rolling out across summer 2026.
