Rich Azz Auntie TV (RAATV) to Officially Launch as Black-Owned Independent Streaming Network on June 19, 2026
Founded by writer-director Jara Everett, RAATV debuts with its first original reality series, The Access Index: Jackson, premiering Friday, June 19 at 7 PM CT — kicking off a new era for independent Black creators.
CHICAGO, Ill. — Rich Azz Auntie TV (RAATV) — an independent, Black-owned streaming network — will officially launch on Friday, June 19, 2026, the company announced today. RAATV's debut will be marked by the premiere of its first original reality series, The Access Index: Jackson, at 7 PM CT exclusively on the network.
Founded by writer, producer, director, and cinematographer Jara Everett — trained in Fine Arts in Cinema and Television at Columbia College Hollywood — RAATV was built to give independent Black creators a platform without the gatekeeping of traditional Hollywood.
"Rich Azz Auntie TV was not built in a boardroom," said Jara Everett, founder and CEO of RAATV. "It was built from vision, sacrifice, frustration, faith, and the determination to create something that truly belongs to us. When Hollywood says no, RAATV says: 'Bring it here.'"
The network is designed for bold creators, original voices, and authentic storytelling — a destination for writers, producers, actors, filmmakers, podcasters, and visionaries who have been overlooked or underfunded by traditional Hollywood. RAATV's catalog spans original series, lifestyle programming, and exclusive interviews aimed at audiences underserved by legacy streaming platforms.
RAATV is subscription-based and launches on Android (Google Play) and the web at raatv.net, with apps for Apple, Samsung Smart TVs, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV rolling out across summer 2026. The service is built for scale, designed to stream to viewers globally and to open new opportunities for creators, sponsors, advertisers, and brands seeking direct cultural engagement with Black audiences.
Coinciding with the platform's launch, RAATV is actively accepting original content submissions, sponsorship opportunities, advertising partnerships, and show concepts from independent creators. Creator submissions can be directed to info@richazzauntietv.com with the subject line CREATOR. Advertising and sponsorship inquiries can be directed to advertising@richazzauntietv.com with the subject line ADS.
The Access Index: Jackson is Created and Executive Produced by Peggy Jara Everett, with Larry Ingram serving as Co-Creator, Show Producer, and Director.
